iPhone X is now only 1-2 weeks behind delivery in the US

Thankfully thats no longer the case for those of you trying to snag an iPhone X in time for the holidays. New leaked image shows the Honor V10 for real

Huawei's online-only sub-brand Honor is getting ready for a big launch event in China . That's when the is expected to be unveiled. The handset has already been ahead of its introduction, and earlier today we showed you a . If you had your doubts about that picture, you weren't alone. Thankfully though, from another source in China comes what is definitely the first real portrayal of an Honor V10 unit. What's depicted here lines up perfectly with TENAA's pictures, unlike the previously leaked image. That's why we're pretty sure this is in fact the Honor V10, the brand's first flagship offering with a tall 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The phone will come with the Kirin 970 chipset (that also powers the ), a 5.99 2,160x1,080 display, 6GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of storage, a dual rear camera setup (16 MP + 20 MP), and a 13 MP selfie snapper. We assume that the V10 will run EMUI 8.0 with Android 8.0 Oreo underneath, but that's not a given yet. The Honor V10 will allegedly be priced at CNY 2,999 (that's about $453 or 384 at the current exchange rates). Honor is holding an event in London on December 5 where we expect the V10 to be announced (under a different name) for international markets. (in Chinese) |

OnePlus confirms it wont have Project Treble on the OnePlus 5T, heres what that means

OnePlus held an AMA about its newest device, the . One of the inquiries referred to . For those who havent heard about Project Treble it was announced several months ago as a feature of Android Oreo. In fact, all phones that shipped with Android Oreo out of the box will support this feature. Project Treble modularizes the Android Operating system so that OEM customizations stay separate from Android. The idea is that OEMs dont need to tweak the update as much to cut down on time between releasing updates. So back to OnePlus, in the AMA a fan asked if the OnePlus 5T or any other OnePlus devices will be updated to support Treble indirectly asking if any OnePlus devices will be fast-tracked for updates. OnePlus confirmed that neither the OnePlus 5T, nor any other OnePlus device, will be updated to support Treble. OEMs can update devices with Nougat 7.1 and older to support Project Treble, though this does require reworking of OEMs firmware so many of them may not bother with Treble until a future release. |
